Healthcare Business Analyst - Terminology Standards and EHR Workflow

Up to $60,000 a year - Full-time
Work Location: 333 Bering Avenue, Etobicoke, ON

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Business Analyst to join our team and help optimize our use of healthcare terminology standards and EHR workflows. In this role, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to analyze and improve how terminology standards are implemented in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Analyze current usage of healthcare terminology standards (e.g. SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10) within our EHR and other clinical systems
  •  Collaborate with clinicians to map existing workflows and identify areas where terminology standards can be better leveraged
  •  Evaluate the impact of terminology standards on clinical documentation, reporting, and interoperability
  •  Design and document improved workflows that optimize use of standardized terminologies
  •  Develop training materials and conduct sessions to educate staff on terminology standards and updated workflows
  •  Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and IT/EHR teams to translate requirements
  •  Perform data analysis to measure the effectiveness of terminology standard implementations
  •  Collaborate closely with the CEO to deploy an innovative terminology management product tailored for the Canadian healthcare market
  •  Develop implementation strategies that align with Canadian healthcare regulations and best practices
  •  Create a roadmap for product customization, localization, and market entry
  •  Assist in building partnerships with key stakeholders in the Canadian healthcare ecosystem
  •  Contribute to the development of marketing and educational materials specific to the Canadian market
  •  Provide regular updates and insights to the CEO on project progress, challenges, and opportunities
  •  Help identify and capitalize on unique aspects of the Canadian healthcare system that can drive product adoption and success
  •  Stay up-to-date on healthcare terminology standards and best practices for their use in EHR systems

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in health informatics, healthcare administration, or related field
  •  3+ years of experience as a business analyst in healthcare settings
  •  Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology standards (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, etc.)
  •  Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical workflows
  •  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  Strong communication skills and ability to work with both clinical and technical teams
  •  Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  •  Certification in healthcare informatics or terminology standards (e.g. AHIMA) preferred

Graphics Artist

Up to $50,000 a year - Full-time
Work Location: 333 Bering Avenue, Etobicoke, ON

Alveum is seeking a Graphics Designer for our Bids and Proposals efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, fast-paced business development team. As a Graphic Artist, you will be responsible for creating compelling informational and technical graphics to support proposals for Canadian Healthcare private and Government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Operate in a fast-paced environment; sometimes, the team might need up to 5-8 graphics generated in under a week
  •  Collaborate with leadership to create compelling info and technical graphics using MS PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
  •  Ensure graphics meet proposal guidelines and compliance requirements related to sizes, font styles, etc. Graphics will illustrate IT services tools, processes, and more
  •  Provide graphics support for executive PowerPoint presentations and technical illustrations, and prepare art and graphic design/ illustration projects that can be placed in documents, presentations, or on the web
  •  Design products that support our marketing efforts; web banner updates for the website, eBlasts, eNewsletter designs, infographics and logos, and promotional products

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in graphics design or related field is required
  •  3 plus years of experience creating information and technical graphics for Government or Private agency proposals
  •  Experience creating concepts, rough outlines, and presentation-ready graphics for federal proposals
  •  Must be able to use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphics products without training
  •  Demonstrated understanding of accessibility and 508 compliance workflow and principles as they apply to Graphic design
